I was obsessed with Sleeping Beauty as a child. I dreamed of finding my prince and living happily ever after. Well, I  married my prince at 28 and got ready for my happily ever after. The problem was, no one bothered to say what that would look like. It took me another 15 years of personal exploration to figure that out.

Princess Is Not An Occupation is a talk in which I dig into where fairy tales come from and how they have shaped our culture, and continue to do so to this day.

The talk is followed by a discussion modeled after the 17th Century Parisian Salons.
