I happened to sit next to a very nice and witty person at the Miami Short Film Festival. We got to talking and I mentioned that I was a comedic actress. Lo and behold, he was a directing student at MIU and had a comedic short he was getting ready to shoot. He asked if I would like to be a part of it. I said sure! The concept was cute and it was scheduled for a night I was free.
We shot in a studio at MIU, which is a cool school. They used a Sony EX-1 HD Camera and had full sound equipment and even had an AD! The shoot ran smoothly and I was in and out on schedule. Most importantly, I had fun and enjoyed being part of the process. It always feels good to participate in the beginning of someone’s career. I think we’ll see good stuff from Steve.
